One of our lovely new friends has a small holding close by. She is a widow with two adult children. Amazingly, she manages a full time and very stressful job and four acres. I think her animals are her "de-stresser" Here are her two delightful donkeys, Riley and Megan. She talks to them in French, which they seem to understand!
It is delightful to have new people to talk to and hear their stories. We had lots of challenging political discussions over lunch and also artistic ones - I took her a fabric hare that I had made her, as she has a passion for those too......Perhaps she just likes creatures with long furry ears?
